The Government Solutions Group was created to take CareerBuilder.com’s proven product suite directly to the United States’ State and Local Government Sector. As a Government Account
Executive you will analyze the goals of target accounts and present the business and product fit between the agencies/departments and CareerBuilder, which includes how they can effectively use
our products to hire more efficiently and attract the best talent. Programs that accounts typically purchase and implement consist of a customized combination of our 140 product offerings, with our
job postings and resume database access leading the way as our flagship tools. This enormous opportunity is hugely untapped and waiting for diligent and interested individuals who want to become the
next biggest success stories at CareerBuilder.

Government Account Executive responsibilities include:
- Analyze and create online recruitment solutions targeted at all areas of State and Local Governments nationwide.
- Conduct daily outbound calls to schedule and run your web-based sales appointment presentations.
- Grow client base: prospect, qualify, solidify relationships, overcome objections and close new accounts; maintain existing accounts
- Demonstrate a consultative sales approach utilizing strong communication skills
- Generate revenue, and exceed attainable monthly quota
- Understand current trends within the State and Local Government sectors as well as the online recruitment industry to better inform clients why the CareerBuilder.com product is #1 and makes
business sense for the client.
